Earth Day:

Earth Day is April 22nd; pay homage to Mother Earth by coming to hang out and learn with Atomz Lab the next day!  We'll simulate an oil spill and learn about the impact of pollution and how to make a difference. Additionally get to make and keep your very own Sea Jellies!

Mothers Day Surprise:

Mother knows best!  Your child will have the opportunity to spend time investigating the world around us while taking a journey into nature.  They'll be elated to have the opportunity to utilize their discoveries to make a super secret surprise for that special lady in their life (their Mom!).  Watch them light up as they get to bring home this special handmade gift to present on Mothers Day (or just as soon as they walk out the door should you have an overzealous spirit who just can't wait)

5/21/18 -
Bubble, Bubble, Toil and Trouble:

Okay, there won't be hard labor or trouble, but there will be bubbles!  Bubbles here, bubbles there and bubbles everywhere will help us understand surface tension and how bubbles maintain their shape.

If You Can't Beat the Heat, It Might Be the Sun:

"The after-school lab classes were our daughter's first introduction to science, and they have instilled a life-long love of science. The classes are fun, engaging, and educational. The staff  is outstanding. Our daughter loved making concoctions and compounds that would fizz and bubble, turn liquids to solids, solids to liquids, the list goes on and on." Gayle, Stallings
"My daughter had fun and I loved hearing about it when she got home!  She said she is "willing" to share the First Aid kit with us, but made it clear that it is hers..."  Celeste, Waxhaw

" Best part of my day today was knowing my kids were having a blast at science class.  Thank you!"
Jeni, Waxhaw

"My daughter had such an amazing time and has been putting slings and fixing injuries all night!"  Kerrie, Waxhaw

"(My daughter) used her gauze from her first aid kit to help a classmate later in the day.  He fell and his mouth was bleeding, so she gave him the gauze, asked him to put some pressure on it, tried to calm him down, and told him he was going to be ok.  I witnessed the whole thing!  Very impressed with your class!"  Keri, Charlotte

"My son loves your program!  Thank you so much!"
Kristy, Monroe
